Air Conditioner Pressure

Air Conditioner Pressure

An Air Conditioner Pressure Sensor allows the ECU to continuously monitor the pressure of the air conditioning system for safety purposes. An analog Air Conditioner Pressure Sensor is a powered sensor that typically has three wires; a 5V+ power wire, a signal wire to the ECU, and a Signal Ground. Air Conditioner Pressure signals may also be digital inputs.

Air Conditioner Pressure Sensor

On this node, the Air Conditioner Pressure sensor calibration can be loaded or entered manually. If you have purchased a Pressure sensor from Haltech, calibrations can be loaded directly into the calibration table by using the 'Load from File' button. Calibrations can be saved to file by using the 'Save to File' button.
Display

This node sets the minimum value for the number and gauge displays.

Warning Minimum - When the sensor reads below this amount, any number or gauge displays will flash red as a warning of low pressure.
Warning Maximum - When the sensor reads above this amount, any number or gauge displays will flash red as a warning of high pressure.

Diagnostics

This node allows the enabling of high and low voltage DTCs for the Air Conditioner Pressure sensor.

A DTC severity can be set for each voltage, which will trigger an Engine Protection level for the relevant setting.

Wiring

This node allows you to assign the input for the Air Conditioner Pressure sensor.

Options

Input Type - Select if the input signal is Analogue - Voltage or Digital - Duty Cycle

Connections

If the Input Type is Analogue - Voltage, any available AVI can be used if the sensor is wired directly to the ECU. As an analogue pressure sensor typically has three wires; a 5V+ power wire, a signal wire to the ECU, and a Signal Ground, the Pull Up should be set to disabled.

If the Input Type is Digital - Duty Cycle, any available SPI can be used.
