Barometric Correction

Barometric Correction

The Fuel Barometric Pressure Correction Table is used to correct engine fueling based upon atmospheric barometric pressure. The number in each cell of the above table represents a percentage change in fuel output for a given represented barometric pressure value.

An example of where Barometric Correction would be used.
On a vehicle where TPS is used for load measurement. Barometric Correction is used as a means of correcting fuel delivery as atmospheric pressure increases or decreases based due to changes in weather conditions or altitude change.
