Coolant Temp Correction

Coolant Temp Correction

The Coolant Temperature Correction Table is used to add or subtract fuel by a percentage value. A positive value results in the addition of fuel.
The above example table above shows that fuel enrichment is being provided during a cold start in an effort to ensure enough fuel is allowed to atomise while fuel pooling on cold surfaces is still occurring. By 70.C no more fuel correction is being applied as the engine nears operating temperature, Conversely additional fuel can be added if the maximum desired engine coolant temperature is exceeded to assist with engine thermal management.
