Axis selection and changing values

This table is intended to be used with RPM set as the first/x (left to right) axis, though both axes are user configurable to use any ECU channel. Changing the axis values can be accomplished by pressing F3 when the table is selected, then either editing an existing value or adding a new value. Note that if you edit an axis site value, the overall table values will be adjusted so that the shape of the table is unchanged.

Tuning

In the case that the O2 control is interrupted by another function (such as decel cutoff or transient throttle) a delay on re-instating the O2 control is imposed. The O2 control is re-instated only after all of the O2 control conditions are met and this delay time has passed. The purpose of this delay is to allow enough time for exhaust gas to reach the sensor after normal fuel delivery has been re-instated. Practical application - a vehicle is on cruising on the highway, all closed loop O2 control conditions are met. The vehicle starts going downhill, the driver takes their foot off the throttle which triggers the deceleration cutoff function to enable. This cuts all fuel injection events in a bid to increase fuel economy. As the road levels out the driver applies the throttle again and fuel injection is re-instated, however O2 control is not immediately re-instated, rather the O2 control waits for the delay set in this table until it begins to trim fuel in or out depending on the reading from the O2 sensor.

The idle mixture is very sensitive to changes in injection time. Idle injection times are usually around 1.5 to 2.5 ms. If the injection time at idle is much lower than this, it may become difficult to set accurate idle and cruise air/fuel ratios. ...
