Dwell Time

Dwell Time



This table sets out the Dwell Time for the ignition pulses in milliseconds. Also known as Charge Time. 
These values are specific to the ignition coil, and should be sourced from the ignition coil manufacturer/supplier. 
Setting a Dwell Time that is too high can cause ignition system damage. Setting a Dwell Time that is too low can cause improper ignition system performance.
