Elite series to Nexus S series pinout Swap
This document will go over the pin swap needed to take a Elite 2000/2500 harness, and move it to a S3.
This will also work for a Elite 1000/1500 to the S2, but you will not have IGN5,6,7and 8, INJ5,6,7and 8, and knock2.
There are a few pins that do not cross over, so they will be left open on the S series, but you can wire those in if you want to use those functions.
These functions are:
- AVI11
- SPI5
- SPI6
- Internal Wideband
- DPO6
- CAN2
There are also function on the Elite that do not cross over to the Nexus.
The Elite has 4 stepper pins rated at 1amp and 2 dedicated DBW pins rated at 5amps, so 6 total outputs capable of half bridge control.
The Nexus only has 4 HBO outputs rated at 8amps, so you lose 2 stepper outputs.
