The Haltech Vehicle Management System (VMS) is an ignition only ECU that is targeted at mechanically injected and carburetor drag racing vehicles. The VMS is a 1 stop, 1 cable solution for ignition timing control (8 channel), boost control, nitrous control, launch control, transbrake control, staging bump and creep control and datalogging.
A VMS T variant is also available (for race classes that allow it) which adds active torque management based on target driveshaft RPM or target engine RPM, or any other channel that the ECU has active to ensure consistent drag racing results.
