Fuel Level Sensor

Fuel Level Sensor

A Fuel Level Sensor can be used with your ECU for data logging and for sending Fuel Level data to a dash display, such as the Haltech iC-7.

On this node, the Fuel Level sensor calibration can be loaded or entered manually. If you have purchased a Pressure sensor from Haltech, calibrations can be loaded directly into the calibration table by using the 'Load from File' button. Calibrations can be saved to file by using the 'Save to File' button.

Display

This node sets the display settings for the Fuel Level channel.
Warning Minimum - Sets the level at which the Fuel Level sensor Number Displays, Gauges and Bars will enter their lower warning state
Display Maximum - Sets the level at which the Fuel Level sensor Number Displays, Gauges and Bars will end.

Diagnostics

This node allows the enabling of high and low voltage DTCs for the Fuel Level sensor.
A DTC severity can be set for each voltage, which will trigger an Engine Protection level for the relevant setting.

Wiring

This node allows you to assign the input for the Fuel Level sensor.

It is not recommended to wire the fuel level sender directly to the ECU due to large fluctuations in the signal. Please wire the sender via a Fuel Level Signal Conditioner (HT-038002). The output of this signal conditioner can be wired directly to an available analogue input. Please see the relevant documentation for the signal conditioner for more information.
