Headlights

The Headlights function allows for the Nexus R5 ECU to control the illumination of automotive headlamps.

      Inputs

None/Always On: Lights come with ignition input.
1 Input: For cycling between "Off", "Parking Light Output", "Headlights" with input trigger (CAN button presses).
2 Input: For individual inputs for "Parking Light Output", "Headlights".

                  NOTE: When using CAN keypads,
                              - Single Press Mode: Button Mode in Connections should be set to "Momentary".
                              - Dual Press Mode: Button Mode in Connections should be set to "Push On / Push Off".

      Disable Condition

Never: Headlight output never disables when VCU is powered.
While Cranking: Headlight Output disables during engine crank.
Until Engine Run: Headlight Output disabled until Engine is running on Base Fuel Table.

      High Beams

This will enable a High Beam Output that can be triggered by a single input.

      High Beam Flashing

When High Beam Output is enabled, users can use an input to flash at a desired frequency and duration. Generally used to warn the driver ahead, that you             intend to pass.

High Beam Flash Frequency: When the high beam flash input is pressed, the high beams will flash at this frequency. Min. 2 / Max. 10 (Hz)
High Beam Flash Duration: When the high beam flash input is pressed, the high beams will flash for this length of time. Mix. 2 / Max. 10 (s)

      CAN Display Information

The NEXUS VCU can share information with other Haltech CAN displays (ie. IC-7). Users will be able to see on their IC-7 display that the headlights are enabled.
