Stall Saver

Stall Saver

The Stall Saver function effectively prevents the engine from stalling by increasing the RPM if it falls below the RPM indicated in the function settings.
This function is also now incorporated in Idle Control.

On Value - When the engine RPM is at this value, the Stall Saver function will activate. This is not a common function since idle control systems have been installed but is typically wired to a solenoid valve or throttle kicker to supply more air when the engine is about to stall.

Wiring

This node allows for the selection of an output to a solenoid valve or throttle kicker.
Typically a DPO (Digital Pulsed Output) will be connected for the Stall Saver function.
