The tachometer function provides a duty signal output to drive a tachometer. To generate a voltage signal, the output from the Elite must have a pull up resistor connected between the output and the required voltage for the signal. DPO-1 already has an adjustable pull up resistor on board and is the suggested output to use for this function, and makes installation a simpler process.

Select an appropriate Output to use for the Tachometer. DPO-1 is recommended to be used for this function due to it having a user adjustable Pull Up Voltage. (Default = DPO-1) (Default Pull Up Voltage = 5.00)
Controls the whether the output is normal or inverted. Low will ground the output wire when the output is set to be On. Setting to High will invert this signal, with the output wire being grounded when the output is set to be Off, and not grounded when it is set to be On. (Default = Low)
Allows adjustment of the number of pulses to be sent for the engine cycle. Typically this will be the same as the number of cylinders.
Allows a tacho needle sweep when the ECU is powered. The amount controls the RPM that the needle will sweep to and then return to normal operation. Setting this to zero will disable the function.
