Temperature Correction

It is good practice to increase line pressures when the transmission exceeds rated temperature. Firstly, the increased temperature can cause greater than normal slippage within the transmission clutches, and secondly, any slippage which occurs further increases the temperature. If the temperature increases too much, the transmission fluid can break down and/or parts can fail. This table is to protect the transmission, not for driver comfort, so don't worry about achieving perfect feeling shifts while it is making significant corrections.

Closed Loop or Open Loop w/Target mode

When in these modes, the correction applies to the target pressure.
It applies as a percentage correction to target when expressed in gauge pressure, so the results may appear confusing if you prefer viewing absolute pressures.
Example table:

Open Loop mode

When in open loop mode, the correction acts as a percentage correction to the duty cycle table. Because line pressures typically go up with decreasing duty cycle, these corrections should generally be negative corrections.
