Trigger Glitch Filter

Trigger Glitch Filter

This table sets the amount of time in microseconds that the signal pulse must remain in a transitioned state in order for the signal to be accepted as valid.
Any pulse shorter than this time will be considered a glitch on the signal and rejected by the ECU.

The table can be increased to 8x1 cells, and it is recommended that it be mapped against Engine RPM.

Use this table to prevent any signal noise from causing erroneous trigger events leading to synchronization issues in the trigger system.

Too small of a Glitch Filter value will cause the ECU to accept potential noise pulses as valid signals.
Too large of a Glitch Filter value will cause the ECU to ignore valid signals.
