Stepper Outputs

Stepper Outputs

The Stepper Outputs are 4x high side/low side drivers capable of controlling devices with a 12V (high) or 0V (low) signal with up to 1A of current. These outputs are optimally designed to support 4- and 6-wire stepper motors used in many vehicle applications. When these outputs are not used to control a stepper motor, they can be individually assigned to functions requiring a Digital Pulsed Output (DPO).

For information on how to use the Stepper Outputs to wire 4- and 6-wire idle stepper motors, please see the Idle Control Wiring page.
