Torque Converter Dump Duty Cycle

Torque Converter Dump Duty Cycle Table

This table sets the duty cycle of the PWM signal to the Torque Converter Dump Valve.

In a drag racing application you may want to adjust the torque converter charge pressure during launch and racing conditions. Reducing the charge pressure at the start line will assist the engine to "come up on the converter" and get to the desired launch pressure. You may then decide to introduce full charge pressure at the start of the race, or re-introduce the charge pressure during the run. There are several channels you could map this against, typically Race time, Engine RPM or Road Speed would be used.
