Torque Converter Pressure Sensor

Torque Converter Pressure Sensor

The Torque Converter Pressure Sensor is used to monitor the fluid pressure within the transmissions torque converter. It can be used with your ECU for mapping of Transmission tables, for data logging and for Engine Protection purposes. A Torque Converter Pressure Sensor is a powered sensor that typically has three wires; a 5V+ power wire, a signal wire to the ECU, and a Signal Ground.

On this node, the Torque Converter Pressure sensor calibration can be loaded or entered manually. If you have purchased a Pressure sensor from Haltech, calibrations can be loaded directly into the calibration table by using the 'Load from File' button. Calibrations can be saved to file by using the 'Save to File' button.

Display

This node sets the display settings for the Torque Converter Pressure channel.
Warning Minimum - Sets the pressure at which the Torque Converter Pressure sensor Number Displays, Gauges and Bars will enter their lower warning state.
Warning Maximum - Sets the pressure at which the Torque Converter Pressure sensor Number Displays, Gauges and Bars will enter their upper warning state.

Diagnostics

This node allows the enabling of high and low voltage DTCs as well as Minimum and Maximum pressure DTCs for the Torque Converter Pressure sensor.

A DTC severity can be set for each voltage and pressure, which will trigger an Engine Protection level for the relevant setting.

Wiring

This node allows you to assign the input for the Torque Converter Pressure sensor.
Torque Converter Pressure sensors use an Analog Input. Any available AVI can be used.
It is recommended to disable the Pull Up.
