Plug-in Model Selection

Plug-in Model Selection

Plug-in Information Model Setup

Some factory pin locations and functionality vary between vehicle variants. Upon making a Plug-In Information "Model" selection (referenced in Initial ECU Setup), the hardware configuration is set and the on-board relays assign the correct factory pins as inputs, outputs or reference voltages based on the application. The tables below reference which pins are allocated to which hardware circuitry, and the corresponding functionality of the pin for BA, BF and FG variants. All pins are also assigned to their respective functions in ESP. For BA and FG series Falcons, this will cause a number of relays to click, signifying the correct selection has been made. Selecting the wrong vehicle variant for your application will cause malfunctions.

NOTE: Some vehicles may be running with ECU and Harness combinations different to those which came in the vehicle from the factory. To ensure the correct pins are assigned and the correct Plug-in Information is selected, the following information can be referenced. Complete functionality pinouts can be found at the links below, and the hardware comparisons are summarised in the below table. In the case that the pinout listed for your selected vehicle variant is different from that in the car, the Plug-in Information dropdown menu selection must be changed to match the vehicle.
