Transmission Oil Temperature

Transmission Oil Temperature

A Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor can be used with your ECU for datalogging and for Driveline Protection purposes. Temperature sensors are typically two wire sensors; a signal wire that is connected to an AVI, and a signal ground wire.

Transmission Oil Temperature Configuration

On this node, the Transmission Oil Temperature sensor calibration can be loaded or entered manually. If you have purchased a temp sensor from Haltech, calibrations can be loaded directly into the calibration table by using the 'Load from File' button. Calibrations can be saved to file by using the 'Save to File' button.

Display

This node sets the display settings for the Transmission Oil Temperature channel.
Warning Maximum - Sets the pressure at which the Oil Temperature sensor Number Displays, Gauges and Bars will enter their lower warning state.
Warning Maximum - Sets the pressure at which the Oil Temperature sensor Number Displays, Gauges and Bars will enter their upper warning state

Diagnostics

This node allows the enabling of high and low voltage DTCs as well as Minimum and Maximum temperature DTCs for the Transmission Oil Temperature sensor.

A DTC severity can be set for each voltage and pressure, which will trigger an Engine Protection level for the relevant setting.

Wiring

This node allows you to assign the input for the Transmission Oil Temperature sensor.
Oil Temperature Sensors use an Analog Input. Any available AVI can be used.
It is recommended to enable the Pull Up. This connects a 1kOhm internal resistor between the signal input and 5v.
