Pit Lane Speed Limiter Ignition Correction

Pit Lane Speed Limiter Ignition Correction

Ignition Correction

The ignition timing angle correction when Pit Lane Speed Limiter is active. This correction is added (or subtracted) from any/all other ignition timing calculations that are being applied at the time the function is active, i.e. if the commanded ignition timing in the base ignition map is 30 degrees BTDC and a correction of -10 degrees is requested in the Pit Lane Speed Limiter Ignition Correction map the output timing would be 20 degrees BTDC.
Typically the ignition timing is retarded to reduce engine power output when the Pit Lane Speed Limiter function is triggered. Positive values will advance the timing, negative values will subtract from the output timing.
