Starter Motor

General

Max Starting Attempt Time - The maximum amount of time (in seconds) that the starter will be turned On per start attempt. This setting is ignored if there is no Start button / key input to the ECU. Minimum = 0.5, Maximum = 10.0.

Starter-Off Engine RPM - The starter motor will remain Off when the engine is at or above this RPM. The engine should not stall at this RPM. Minimum = 10, Maximum = 5000.

Lockout Conditions

For safety, it is recommended to use at least one lockout condition to prevent cranking the motor by accident.

Brake Not Applied - If checked, the starter motor will not be engaged while the brake pedal is not pushed down.

Clutch Not Applied - If checked, the starter motor will not be engaged while the clutch pedal is not pushed down.

Not In Neutral Gear / Park - If checked, the starter motor will not be engaged while the vehicle is not in neutral gear (or park for auto).

Custom Condition - Use to add a condition that, when met, prevents the starter motor from being engaged.

Disable Starter Motor When

Use to define a condition that, when met, prevents the starter motor from being engaged.
